Welcome to Effy's Enchanted Boutique! Our services include your basic standard groom, a full groom (haircut), nail trims, as well as any extra add-ons or special needs your dog may require.

Standard Groom

Our standard groom  includes a bath with one of our high quality shampoos each formulated for your dogs coat type/skin, a blueberry facial that helps remove tears stains and order, a blow dry with our high or low velocity blower, a full brush and combing of the coat, nail cut & file, cleaning the ears and eyes, shaving the paw pads, rounding out the feet, a sanitary cut where we shave between the back legs and butt, and a trim above your dogs eyes if they need it.

Full Groom

The full groom is the same process but with a haircut or trim depending on your dogs breed/needs. Please note that the pricing will vary depending on your dogs breed, size, coat type, behavior, and any extra services you may want/need.

Hand Stripping

This process consists of using a stripping stone or blade, and a brush and comb to get rid of the dead hair trapped inside the dogs coat. This is typically only done on wire haired dogs as their coat doesn't shed to release the dead hair as other dogs coats do. It is a much longer process than a standard haircut, taking between 1-3 hours, but ensures the health of your dogs skin and coat.

Extra Add-ons

Does your dog have sensitive or dry skin? Try our deep conditioning greek yogurt shampoo (pomegranate or vanilla)

Allergies or skin issues? Try our medicated dog shampoo with colloidal oatmeal.

If your furniture is covered in your dogs fairy dust (their fur) or you see clumps of their undercoat coming out, ask for the de-shedding treatment. For this process we use a de-shedding shampoo and curry comb in the bath, as well as brushing while blow drying and finishing with an undercoat rake and equi-groomer or furminator.

If fleas are found on your dog then you will be charged a $50 fee and they will be treated with a flea and tick destroying shampoo. Please take your dog to the vet afterwards to insure your dog receives the proper medication to kill any possible tapeworm eggs that the fleas laid. If we find ticks on your dog, we will remove them with no extra charge. If you are simply trying to prevent fleas and ticks, please ask for this treatment. It is formulated with essential oils and all natural ingredients, which should keep your dog flea and tick free for about 7-10 days. You can purchase or make an essential oil flea and tick spray to use in between as a natural alternative. Look for ingredients like lemongrass, clove, peppermint, rosemary, cinnamon, neem or cedar-wood.  

Did your dog try to make friends with a skunk? Don't worry, we will get the stink out the best we can. The faster you get your dog bathed after they get sprayed, the more likely the smell will fully come out. If you wait a few days the smell is going to take multiple baths to get rid of and can last up to a year or longer. We use a de-skunking shampoo with a mixture of dawn soap, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and a deodorizing shampoo.

If your dog has lots of hair packed in their ears (typically poodle mixes) we use a special powder that makes it less uncomfortable for them when removing the hair.
